Viewing Your Current Plan

To see your subscription details:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. You'll see your current plan, billing cycle, and renewal date
  3. Usage quotas show how much you've used this period

Understanding Your Quotas

Each plan has limits on certain actions. Your current usage is displayed as:

  • Searches - Number of search queries performed
  • Content Views - Full result details viewed
  • Downloads - Files downloaded
  • API Requests - API calls made (if applicable)

Progress bars show usage percentage. Colors indicate status:

  • Green - Under 50% used
  • Yellow - 50-80% used
  • Orange - 80-99% used, approaching limit
  • Red - Limit reached

When Quotas Reset

Depending on the limit type:

  • Monthly limits - Reset on your billing anniversary date
  • Daily limits - Reset at midnight UTC

Your dashboard shows the exact reset time for each quota.

Upgrading Your Plan

To get more capacity:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click "Upgrade Plan"
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing
  5. Complete payment

Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.

Downgrading Your Plan

If you need fewer features:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click "Change Plan"
  3. Select a lower tier
  4. Confirm the downgrade

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan's benefits until then.

Quota Overage

When you hit a limit:

  • Searches - You can't perform new searches until reset
  • Content Views - Results show limited preview only
  • Downloads - Download buttons become disabled
  • API - API returns 429 (rate limit) errors

Options when you hit limits:

  1. Wait for the quota to reset
  2. Upgrade to a higher plan for immediate additional quota

Notifications

You'll receive email notifications when:

  • You reach 80% of any quota
  • You hit 100% of a quota
  • Your subscription is about to renew
  • Payment fails

Configure these in Settings > Notifications.

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Provide feedback (optional)
  4. Confirm cancellation

After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your paid period, then your account reverts to the Free plan.
