Payment methods, invoices, coupon codes, and cancellation policies.

Payment Methods

ReconX accepts several payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards - Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • PayPal - Link your PayPal account
  • Cryptocurrency - Bitcoin, Ethereum (where available)

Adding a Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click "Add Payment Method"
  3. Enter your card details or link PayPal
  4. Save the payment method

Your default payment method is charged automatically for renewals.

Viewing Invoices

Access your billing history:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Scroll to "Billing History"
  3. Click on any invoice to view or download

Invoices are generated for:

  • New subscriptions
  • Renewals
  • Upgrades
  • One-time purchases

Using Coupon Codes

If you have a discount code:

  1. During checkout, find the "Have a coupon?" field
  2. Enter your code
  3. Click "Apply"
  4. The discount will be reflected in your total

Coupon restrictions:

  • Most coupons are one-time use
  • Some apply only to specific plans
  • May have expiration dates
  • Cannot be combined with other offers

Automatic Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You'll receive:

  • Email reminder 7 days before renewal
  • Confirmation email after successful charge

To disable auto-renewal, cancel your subscription. You'll retain access until the paid period ends.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. You'll receive an email notification
  2. We'll retry the charge after a few days
  3. If retries fail, your account may be downgraded to Free

To fix failed payments:

  • Update your payment method with valid details
  • Ensure sufficient funds/credit limit
  • Contact your bank if cards are being blocked

Refund Policy

Our refund policy:

  • Within 7 days - Full refund if you haven't used the service extensively
  • After 7 days - Prorated refund at our discretion
  • Annual plans - Refunds considered on case-by-case basis

To request a refund, contact support with your account email and reason for the request.

Changing Billing Information

Update your billing details:

  • Company name - For invoice display
  • Billing address - Required for some payment methods
  • Tax ID/VAT - For business invoicing

Changes apply to future invoices only.
